Aneta Camilleri Kostova Quality Control Coordinator

 

Since joining Foster Clark in 2010, Aneta has had many opportunities to develop both her quality and management skills, as well as her industry knowledge. Today, Aneta is Foster Clark’s Quality Control Coordinator, and together with a team of 17 people, is responsible for both Incoming and Process Quality Checks.

 

Aneta believes that Foster Clark is people-focused across its growth and development. “I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that come with the expansion of the business. I am looking forward to my future at the company, as I believe that it is an excellent organisation within which to build a career.”

 

What attracted you to Foster Clark?

It is an interesting story. Six years ago I was passing by Foster Clark with my husband and was amazed how big the company was. This led me to ask questions about it, and I learnt that it was family owned and the sort of products it produces. A week after, there was a vacancy in the newspaper. I applied and the rest, as they say, is history.

 

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

To me the most satisfying aspect of my job is that it gives flexibility. I strongly believe that flexibility is beneficial to both the company and the individual as employees feel trusted, valued and their investment in the work and in the organization grows.

 

Of course seeing a satisfied customer enjoying our products is one of the best rewards as it boosts up our morale and gives us energy to improve our work performance.

 

What is the most challenging part of your job?

As a manager, a major part of my role entails keeping a high level of motivation amongst the team and to ensure that everyone performs. I try my best to identify individual strengths and weaknesses that ultimately form the team. We set clear objectives and establish a direction as more often than not, lack of direction can cause performance levels to drop.

 

What do you reckon makes Foster Clark different?

People, the right people, make the biggest difference to our company’s success. The clear company goals and missions, transparency, recognition, development and team work all add up to make Foster Clark different.
